We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will respond to customer inquiries via telephone, email, SMS, and chat, providing prompt problem resolution in line with our organization’s service standards. You will handle routine inquiries, process standard transactions, and escalate issues when necessary, ensuring every customer receives the best possible service.

What Will You Do?

  • Customer Interaction:
    • Respond to customer inquiries via telephone, email, SMS, and chat.
    • Answer routine telephone calls and, when necessary, deviate from standard scripts to meet customer needs.
    • Provide standardized responses using user-friendly GUI screens for our client systems and documentation.
  • Transaction Processing & Data Entry:
    • Resolve basic or Tier 1 payment and account-related requests, including card activations, payments, and updates to customer information (name, address, etc.).
    • Enter required data accurately into client-provided systems and databases.
    • Utilize decision trees and established processes to identify and resolve common customer issues.
    • Escalate or refer unresolved issues to experienced representatives or designated departments for further investigation.
  • Knowledge Building & Compliance:
    • Maintain current knowledge of our company’s and assigned clients' products, services, policies, and procedures.
    • Frequently refer to online manuals and client-specific training materials to ensure accurate information delivery.
    • Adhere strictly to association guidelines, compliance protocols, and company policies throughout all tasks.

What Are We Looking For?

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Typically, no previous relevant experience is required; training will be provided.

    • Ability to quickly acquire and apply job skills and learn company policies and procedures.
    • Willingness to refer to online resources and manuals for clarification on client-specific practices.

    • Strong attention to detail in data entry and when handling customer information.
    • Ability to follow instructions and standardized processes with precision.
  • Communication & Problem-Solving:
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Capacity to recognize when a deviation from standard procedures is necessary and escalate accordingly.
    • Ability to work effectively under close supervision while managing routine and semi-routine assignments.
  • Technical Proficiency:
    • Comfortable navigating computerized data entry systems and relevant applications.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
  • Previous experience in customer service, preferably in the travel or airline industry.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using computers, including familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
