Adventure Awaits is on the lookout for a highly organized and creative Event Planner to join our dynamic team! As an Event Planner at Adventure Awaits, you’ll be responsible for organizing virtual and in-person events, from conception to execution. Whether it’s coordinating a virtual conference, a team-building retreat, or a product launch, you'll play a key role in creating seamless and memorable experiences. This is a full-time remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while collaborating with a talented team of professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Event Coordination: Organize, plan, and execute a wide range of events, including virtual conferences, workshops, and in-person gatherings.
  • Client Interaction: Work closely with clients to understand their goals, preferences, and budgets for events.
  • Vendor Management: Source and coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and service providers to ensure timely delivery of event materials, catering, or technology needs.
  • Logistical Support: Oversee all event logistics, including scheduling, budgeting, and ensuring all technical and operational aspects are in place.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams to design event agendas, create promotional materials, and help market the event to target audiences.
  • Problem-Solving: Address any issues that arise during the planning or execution of an event, providing quick solutions to ensure the event runs smoothly.
  • Post-Event Analysis: Evaluate the success of each event, gather feedback from participants, and implement improvements for future events.

Job Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of event planning experience, preferably in a virtual or hybrid environment.
  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Technology Proficiency: Comfortable with event management software, video conferencing tools, and various digital platforms.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong ability to think on your feet and resolve event-related challenges swiftly and efficiently.
  • Creative Mindset: Ability to think creatively to develop unique event concepts and bring them to life.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to changes in event requirements, working hours, and responsibilities.
  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field is a plus.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
  • Previous experience in customer service, preferably in the travel or airline industry.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using computers, including familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-first mindset.
