About the Position: Join our dynamic team at TeamHealth as a Patient Accounts Representative. This role offers the unique opportunity to work remotely after completing an initial training period. As a key member of our billing and accounts team, you will play a crucial role in managing patient accounts, ensuring accurate billing, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Management: Handle patient accounts, including billing, payments, and account adjustments.
  • Billing Inquiries: Respond to patient and insurance company inquiries regarding account balances and billing statements.
  • Payment Processing: Post payments to patient accounts and reconcile discrepancies promptly.
  • Insurance Coordination: Verify insurance information and coordinate with insurance companies to resolve billing issues.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and company policies related to patient accounts and billing.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent service to patients by answering their questions and resolving issues related to their accounts.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
  • Previous experience in customer service, preferably in the travel or airline industry.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using computers, including familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-first mindset.
  • Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace free from distractions.
