Position Summary: The Remote Administrator-on-Call (Remote AOC) is a key leader in our recovery services team, overseeing donor assessment and recovery activities. The role ensures donor processes are performed with precision, quality, and compliance, working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to deliver optimal outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Donor Oversight: Supervise activities such as identification, evaluation, authorization, clinical management, allocation, and surgical recovery, ensuring alignment with organizational policies and regulatory standards.
- Collaboration: Partner with Referral Coordinators (RCs) and Medical Directors on Call (MDOCs) to ensure the effective assessment, allocation, and transportation of suitable organs.
- Guidance and Support: Provide real-time direction to staff, mentoring and coaching them through complex operational challenges.
- Process Improvement: Participate in performance improvement initiatives, identify trends, and support staff education through case activity reviews and organizational meetings.
- Regulatory Compliance: Verify critical aspects of the donation process, such as brain death documentation, infectious disease testing, and allocation variances.
- Stakeholder Communication: Ensure accurate and timely information sharing across electronic platforms to support stakeholders, donor families, and transplant teams.
- Team Engagement: Collaborate within a supportive, high-paced environment, handling extended hours and periods of high stress effectively.
Working Conditions:
- This is a remote role supported by a collaborative team environment.
- Requires on-call rotation with Monday-Friday business hours and availability via computer and smartphone.
- Strict adherence to confidentiality standards.
- OSHA Risk Classification: Low.

Education:
