About the Role:
The Global Advertising and Brand Management (GABM) organization is on a mission to drive commerce and create demand through innovative products, partnerships, and marketing experiences. As a Senior Developer, you’ll be part of OnBrand, American Express’ in-house creative agency, focused on crafting industry-defining creative excellence across digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute development for multiple parallel project engagements.
  • Write high-quality code for digital platforms using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Produce, maintain, and modify digital experiences and user interfaces.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI, copy, and design teams to create seamless customer experiences.
  • Ensure projects incorporate accessibility, responsiveness, performance, and ease-of-use best practices.
  • Develop and guide overall development approaches, providing coaching and oversight to developers.
  • Ensure all digital experiences meet industry standards and best practices.
  • Partner with QA teams to troubleshoot defects and optimize development processes based on learnings.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
  • Previous experience in customer service, preferably in the travel or airline industry.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using computers, including familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-first mindset.
  • Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace free from distractions.
