Job Summary
We are seeking a Remote Field Service Representative to join a growing organization specializing in heavy industrial hydraulic products across various industries. This role focuses on troubleshooting customer issues, providing exceptional support, and maintaining effective communication internally and with customers. With more than 50% travel, including domestic and international destinations, this role suits candidates comfortable with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Support: Provide on-site and phone support for machinery and products, ensuring prompt troubleshooting and resolution of customer issues.
- Documentation: Submit administrative paperwork (expense reports, timesheets, service reports, and project findings) on time.
- Collaboration: Work with internal teams, including Sales, Engineering, and Production, to relay customer feedback and report field issues.
- Customer Training: Assist in training customers on Columbia Industries equipment for effective use and maintenance.
- Safety Compliance: Maintain safe working conditions at customer sites and identify potential hazards.
- Issue Resolution: Oversee field jobs that often require unique solutions and produce a written travel expense plan and scope of work for each issue.
- Support at Home Base: Provide assistance at the Mississippi plant when not traveling or in the field.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Previous experience in customer service, preferably in the travel or airline industry.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in using computers, including familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-first mindset.
- Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace free from distractions.
