Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Specialist to join our team. This remote position offers the opportunity to work from home while contributing to the security and integrity of our organization's sensitive information. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in protecting confidential data, implementing security policies, and mitigating risks of data breaches.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain data loss prevention policies and protocols.
- Monitor and analyze DLP alerts to identify potential risks or incidents.
- Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure data protection measures are effective.
- Perform regular audits to detect and address vulnerabilities in data handling practices.
- Assist in the design and deployment of DLP tools and technologies across the organization.
- Train employees on best practices for data security and compliance.
- Stay updated on the latest DLP trends, tools, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare reports and documentation on incidents, compliance status, and risk assessments.
Preferred Skills:
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+.
- Experience with cloud-based environments and their specific data protection challenges.
- Familiarity with encryption technologies and secure data handling practices.
